About the event
After two successful gigs in Chalfont St Giles with Maddie's small bands, she presents her 15-piece ensemble - The Maddie Martin Big Band.
Born from Maddie’s deep love of big band music, she is proud to bring her very own contribution - The Maddie Martin Big Band! This exciting and collaborative project is co-founded with composer, arranger, and trumpeter Gabriel Taylor. Their shared passion has shaped a rich and diverse repertoire, brought to life through Gabriel’s vibrant arrangements. Expect jazz standards, soul, blues, and plenty of feel-good tunes guaranteed to get you dancing.
This gig is a fundraiser to for a new Maddie Martin Big Band project! Gabriel and Maddie are hoping to fund new arrangements and debut the band in new venues. Please come and support Maddie, Gabriel and The Band, and join us for an evening of swinging big band sounds, blues, soul... including a fully stocked bar of course!
