About the event
After two successful gigs in Chalfont St Giles with Maddie's small bands, she presents her 15-piece ensemble - The Maddie Martin Big Band.
Born from Maddie’s deep love of big band music, she is proud to bring her very own contribution - The Maddie Martin Big Band! This exciting and collaborative project is co-founded with composer, arranger, and trumpeter Gabriel Taylor. Their shared passion has shaped a rich and diverse repertoire, brought to life through Gabriel’s vibrant arrangements. Expect jazz standards, soul, blues, and plenty of feel-good tunes guaranteed to get you dancing.
This gig is a special one, as it is a fundraiser for the first Maddie Martin Big Band Album! Gabriel and Maddie are hoping to kick this new project off in summer this year. Please come and support Maddie, Gabriel and The Band, and join us for an evening of swinging big band sounds, blues, soul, and much more. A fully stocked bar will be available, along with a selection of grazing boards to purchase.
